The city of Burgas

Bulgaria is probably the only place in the World, where almost every enhabitted place has some historical heritage or monument. Most of the Bulgarian villages and cities are centuries or eve millenia old. The oldest towns in Bulgaria are just as old as the oldest of the greaest cities in the world. One of those towns is Burgas.
It is the second-largest city on the Bulgarian Black Sea Coast. It is also the fourth-largest by population in the country, after Sofia, Plovdiv and Varna. It is the capital of Burgas Province and an industrial and tourist centre.
Тhe free spirit, the artistic atmosphere and the creative energy of Bourgas, which distinguish the town among others, are a contribution of its prominent artists in the past and the present but also of its thousands of citizens.
Most of the remarkable places, worth being seen are situated in the cities, surrounding Burgas. Such for example are Aheloi, Nessebar, Sozopol and others.
Nessebar is one of the oldest towns in Europe and the richest in architectural monuments from medieval Bulgaria.
The village of Aheloy is situated on the motorway Bourgas- Nessebar just 3km. from Ravda and 6km. from Sunny Beach. The beaches in Aheloy are 56 thousand square meters. Today the coastline near the village is well maintained and provides perfect conditions for a nice summer holiday.
Aheloy is famous for its beautiful fruit gardens and vine yards. This small summer paradise offers to its guests nice atmosphere for relax and recreation. Visitors enjoy the opportunity to taste organic fruits and vegetables straight from the gardens where they are growing. The resort is buried in greenery.
Aheloy is a unique mixture of still preserved green sites, calm and pleasant sea and long and sandy beaches. The quiet sea breeze has a positive impact on the local climate and thus turns the summer holiday in the site pleasant and relaxing.
At a point roughly midway between Bourgas and Varna, the E-87 highway emerges from the hilly wooded terrain into a brief open coastal stretch around Obzor. Despite the town's convenient location and six-kilometer long sandy beach (the largest between Golden Sands and Sunny Beach), this remarkably pleasant spot is surprisingly uncrowded even during peak season.
South of Obzor, the highway courses for 14 kilometers through open vineyards and the heavily wooded Balkan range to Cape Emine, which overlooks the Bay of Nessebar.
Sozopol is one of the earliest towns on the Bulgarian Black Sea coast, derived from the ancient Thracian settlement Apollonia - The town of the God of Apollo. During its Renaissance, Sozopol has been a seaport and trade center between Bulgaria and the Mediterranean cities. The time left its traces on the territory of Sozopol's municipality. The archaeologists unearth more and more finds left from far-off times.
In Burgas and the region as a whole, becoming a part of the big and modern world, distance has become main problem. To go from one direction to another one – citizen or tourist – is obliged to have a vehicle. It could be self owned, or rented by our company.
